It is a 1-acyl-2-oleoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphocholine betaine and a 1,2-di-octadecenoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphocholine. It is functionally related to an oleic acid. It is a conjugate base of a 1,2-dioleoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphocholine(1+).
